Coley is a good alternative to cod although it's taste is slightly stronger, it cooks to an appetizing creamy white. We cut steaks (200g) and fillets from large coley because it's got a better flavour. Order a coley steak or a coley fillet. Caught in the Barents Sea, so SUSTAINABLE.

These are frozen coley fillets (500g), they're extremely high quality because the coley is "frozen at sea", frozen as soon as it's caught. We buy large fillets because, like all fish, the bigger the fish, the bigger the flavour. These fillets are skinless. From the Barents Sea, so SUSTAINABLE.

This is 300g of tail end coley, so there won't be any bones. It is frozen at sea and will come to you in a vacuum pouch. Just put the pouch on a plate, make a couple of slits in the plastic, microwave for about 3 or 4 minutes. Leave to cool in the plastic, then serve to your pet. The dish in the photograph has about half the pack in it, so you can see it will be at least two meals (fat cat in the photograph!). We give our cats tinned or dry cat food as well as coley, so this 300g pack lasts for at least 4 meals, so it's about 90p a meal. That's Lucille, by the way.

Huss is often used in place of cod or haddock. We cut our huss from a big fish. There is a soft bone in the centre, it's easy to eat round, but none of those annoying tiny bones. It's got plenty of flavour. This is so-called "rock salmon" of the fish and chip shops. 500g.
