Roes

Online Catalogue | Roes

From cod roe to caviar

Cod roe is a seasonal treat - it's just gone out of season! If you'd like to be kept up to date with its arrival in the shop in the winter, let's have your e-mail address and we'll let you know when it's available. Like cod roe, herring roe is another traditional treat. Salmon eggs (bright orange) and lumpfish roe (black) are often used for decoration. Then there's caviar - but we've taken it off this site because of the spiralling cost, you really wouldn't want to know! Avruga is still available, at a much more economical cost.
