Cajun Salmon | The Smelly Alley Fish Company

An easy salmon recipe using salmon fillet

  • 3 salmon fillets 200g each, cut into cubes or leave whole
  • Cajun seasoning, enough to coat the salmon, you can buy this ready made
  • Serve with rice (microwave rice is fine) and a salsa, bought or home made. A salsa for this Cajun salmon could be a mixture of chopped cherry tomatoes, avocado in slices, chopped spring onions and some chopped coriander

Roll or sprinkle the salmon with the seasoning, the thicker the better. Fry in minimum olive oil until cooked, about 5-6 minutes. In our opinion the salmon in the photo is bordering on underdone, but some people like it like that!

Because of the way it's cooked, this recipe is ideal on the barbecue, get your largest wok out and fry over the coals until cooked.

Serve with the rices and salsa
