Click on this option (for Reading-area customers, see postcodes above) when you check out.
You'll be asked when you want to collect your fish, just write something like "Tuesday afternoon" or "early Thursday"
You can pick up your parcel any time from 8 to 5, Monday to Saturday. If you want to pick up before 9am, please let us know the afternoon before
It will be packed in the same way as our home deliveries, in a sealed, clean polystyrene box with ice packs, recipes, parsley and a lemon
All the fish and shellfish will be vacuum packed and labelled by us so you can cook it straight away or put it in your fridge or freezer
If you'd like your fish delivered to any postcode except
RG1, RG2, RG3, RG4, RG5, RG6, RG7, RG8, RG9, RG10, RG12, RG14, RG18, RG19, RG20, RG21, RG22, RG23, RG24, RG25, RG26, RG27, RG29, RG30, RG31, RG40, RG41, RG42, RG45 and SL6, delivery is free for all orders over £50, and we can usually deliver Tuesday to Friday.
Orders under £50 are subject to our courier charge of £12.50, but we think you might as well make up your order with fresh fish to the value of £50 as it will be vacuum-packed, never been frozen and you can put it straight into the freezer if you don't want to cook it immediately. If you need a Saturday delivery, there is a surcharge of £24 - that's because our courier company applies a surcharge to us.
If you'd like your fish delivered to Northern Ireland, the more remote Scottish areas, or non-mainland Britain, including the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and the Isle of Wight, there is a surcharge that varies with area - apologies, but we are only passing on our courier's surcharge. You'll know this applies to you from dealing with other deliveries, if so, please ring us on 0118 939 3076 and we will do all we can to arrange delivery, sometimes Parcelforce is easier and cheaper, but not always.
Need your delivery tomorrow?
Please give us a couple of days warning for delivery if you can - fish is a hunted food and is not always conveniently available, but we can usually get it for you! If a next-day delivery is really needed, we would like to hear from you before about 11am for delivery the next day.
|How is your fish delivered?|
In the Reading-area postcodes shown above your fish is delivered in our refrigerated vans. In other areas delivery is by overnight couriers who promise they will deliver before noon. The fish is packed in sealed polystyrene boxes with ice packs to maintain a low temperature. It is a well-packed, clean parcel. All frozen items may thaw on overnight delivery (not necessarily so), so should not be refrozen, although they will be cold enough to go straight into your fridge. Please let us know where you would like the parcel left if you are out. Don't forget, the parcel is well packed and clean so you can have it delivered to your workplace if that would be more convenient, and it will keep cold so you can keep it until it's time to go home.
Here's a summary of your delivery
